The Federation Council summed up the results of the Eco-Dictation-2024

On December 23, 2024, the final event of the International Ecological Dictation - 2024 was held in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by the President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, Viktor Osipov.

Member of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Nature Management Vladimir Pushkarev in his welcoming speech to the participants of the event emphasized that the International Ecological Dictation - 2024 has become a project that inspires action, encourages us to think about what can be done for our planet today.

The results of the Ecological Dictation-2024 began with a presentation dedicated to the Red Book of the Russian Federation, endangered species of animals and the situation in the Kerch Strait, which was presented by the author of the project Natalya Sokolova, head of the Union of Energy and Environmental Security. She noted that this year over 6,700,000 people in 190 countries took part in the Ecodictation.

The participants of the event noted that the Ecodictation is taking on an international scale, despite everything, ecology unites everyone in the world for the benefit of preserving our common home. The Ecodictation lays the foundation for the rational use of resources by future generations.

The Ecodictation is one of the largest environmental education projects in Russia aimed at forming an environmental culture, popularizing environmental knowledge of the population, and increasing the level of environmental literacy.

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, represented by Viktor Osipov, was thanked for their assistance in organizing and holding the Ecodictation.

In 2021, an ecology committee was created in the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia. An Activity Program has been developed and close work is underway with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, the Russian Environmental Operator PPC and specialized supervisory agencies.
