A comprehensive school for 1225 students will be built in the southeast of the capital, said the chief architect of Moscow, Sergei Kuznetsov.

Since the surrounding buildings are quite high and the roof of the school is clearly visible from the windows, the architects decided to apply a pattern on it that repeats the pattern of the paving near the building.

“I hope this example will convince other developers to take a step towards high-quality school architecture,” said the chief architect.

The height of the school will be from one to four floors. All its blocks will be located around the central core, where there will be a recreation center.

Separate entrances to the building are provided not only to the primary school block, but also to the sports building and the media library.

“We deliberately made an indent from the road so that a small square was formed in front of the main entrance to the school: here it will be possible to arrange holidays and other events of a quarter scale. On the whole, for us, this school is a clear evidence that innovative solutions in the design of educational facilities, which we have already implemented in private projects, are applicable to district schools, ”explained the architects of the ATRIUM bureau, the developers of the school project.
