About 200 million rubles will be invested in the Moscow region in the production of quartz glass products for microelectronics

The investor will invest about 200 million rubles in the production of quartz glass products for microelectronics on the territory of the Esipovo industrial park in the Moscow region. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

"On the territory of the Esipovo industrial park, the managing company of which is the Moscow Region Development Corporation, the production of quartz glass products for microelectronics will be launched. The Quartz Crystal Technologies company plans to launch a new enterprise next year. The complex will ensure a high speed of project implementation" Industrial City, implemented in the Moscow Region Industrial format," the press service said.

According to Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region Ekaterina Zinovieva, the total investment in the project will be about 200 million rubles. "Thanks to the opening of a new production facility, more than 50 jobs will be created for residents of the Solnechnogorsk urban district and the nearest municipalities of the Moscow region. The launch of the enterprise is tentatively scheduled for June 2024," the press service quoted Zinoviev as saying.

The ministry added that the Quartz Crystal Technologies Group of Companies has been specializing in the development and production of quartz glass products for more than 15 years. The new enterprise in Solnechnogorsk is planned to host a production complex, as well as a center for scientific research in the field of production of new glass alloys. In addition, the investor plans to train highly qualified specialists in their main profile. “Already now we are open to cooperation with students of technological universities, we offer internship and internship programs so that young people learn from senior employees and get involved in work while still studying. In the future, technologists, quartz blowers, machine gunners, engineers, quality control and expertise specialists, as well as administrative staff," Nikita Ilyin, CEO of Quartz Crystal Technologies, is quoted as saying.

Reactors, cassettes, evaporators and pipes produced by Quartz Crystal Technologies are widely used as equipment in microelectronics, lighting engineering, chemical industry, optics and photonics, medical equipment and other fields. The company uses high-purity quartz concentrate of mineral or synthetic origin as raw materials.
