Novosibirsk plans to launch production in an ecological industrial park in 2025

The first production is planned to be launched in the ecological industrial park in the suburbs of Novosibirsk in 2025. Contracts have already been concluded with seven residents, Vice Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Sergei Semka reported at the TASS press center.

The agreement on the implementation of the project to create an ecological industrial park was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Governor Andrei Travnikov and General Director of the Russian Ecological Operator Denis Butsaev.

"The volume of federal investments in the project is 1 billion rubles. There are already residents, we are in close contact. All the necessary support for technical conditions, for rental payments has been provided by both the regional government and the administration of the Novosibirsk District. Next year we will begin implementation. There are already about seven residents who have concluded contracts," he said.

As previously reported by the press service of the Russian Ecological Operator (REO), residents plan to create production facilities in the eco-industrial park for recycling more than 500 thousand tons of secondary resources per year. In particular, it is planned to create facilities for recycling glass waste, construction and demolition waste with the production of secondary building materials, organic waste with the production of organic fertilizers.

In total, eight eco-industrial parks are being created in Russia within the framework of the federal project; they will be located in each federal district - in the Krasnodar, Stavropol and Primorsky Territories, as well as in the Leningrad, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod Regions.
