Russia's first production of perfume bottles opened in Mozhga

The first Russian production of perfume bottles was opened at the Svet plant in Mozhga. Glass products of high transparency with a volume of 25 to 200 ml will be produced in glass melting furnace No. 4 with a capacity of up to 30 tons per day. The annual output will be 45 million pieces.

The enterprise will be able to replace foreign-made products in the domestic market. In particular, cosmetics manufacturer Faberlic plans to completely abandon imported glass containers and replace them with bottles from the Svet factory.

The enterprise invested 540 million rubles in the construction of an electric furnace and three machine lines, which can produce up to 12 types of bottles. According to Andrey Kryukov, General Director of Svet JSC, the payback period for the project is 3 years. He also noted that the project was developed by specialists of enterprises.

Today, the lines for the production of perfume bottles are fully loaded, the plant is provided with orders until the end of the year. According to Ilya Gorlenko, commercial director of the company that sells the products of the Svet plant and promotes them on the Russian and neighboring markets, preliminary negotiations are underway on deliveries for the next year.

JSC "Svet" is a city-forming and one of the largest manufacturers of glass products in Russia, occupying about 5 - 6% of the market. The company employs 1,370 people. Thanks to the launch of a new production facility, 114 new jobs were created at the plant.
