Mordovia to launch new glass container plant and medical glass production

Mordovia continues to develop the glass production sector. On October 23, the head of the republic, Artem Zdunov, held a meeting with the founder of OOO Glass Company Razvitie, OOO RSK Glass-Decor, OOO Lispharm Glass Vladimir Arutyunov. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Emeev and the head of the enterprise Glass Company Razvitie Sergey Ageev, the press service of the head of the region reports.

The issues of cooperation in the implementation of investment projects were discussed. Currently, the Glass-Decor company is expanding glass production in Ruzayevka - a new glass container plant is planned to be launched next year. The company invested 1.5 billion rubles of its own funds in the construction. The total investment will amount to 3.6 billion rubles.

Investments in the amount of 800 million rubles are also being invested in the existing glass factory located in the city of railway workers - a project to repair one of the glass furnaces will be implemented here.

Vladimir Arutyunov expressed his gratitude to the Head of the Republic for his support: "Thank you for your help - we attracted funds from VEB.RF and the regional industrial development fund for investment projects."

Another important investment project is related to the production of medical glass for the pharmaceutical industry. A new plant with an investment volume of 2.7 billion rubles will be built on the territory of the special economic zone in Saransk.
