In Luga told about the history of the Torkovichi glass factory

An exhibition “Pages of the history of the Torkovichi glass factory” has opened in the Luga intersettlement district library. Its main exhibits are glass products from different years, including the pre-revolutionary period.

The glass Olympic bear looks incredibly touching and warm, and skillfully made bottles, as if they still keep the scent of exquisite perfume. The perfumery theme is supported by books, including "Death of a perfumer" by Ashley Weaver, "Trail of fragrances" by Christina Caboni.

The exposition is complemented by clippings from the newspaper "Luzhskaya Pravda" of the 1960s-1970s, which make it possible to get acquainted in more detail with the past of the Torkovichi plant, its successes, achievements and workers.

At the exhibition, you can also see photographs depicting factory everyday life and holidays, impressive workshops and workers.
