Restoration of the Kuban Glass Factory building completed in Krasnodar

In Krasnodar, the restoration of the former Kuban Glass Factory building on Stavropolskaya Street has been completed. The object has the status of regional cultural heritage, the regional administration reports.

Specialists restored the brickwork, decorative elements of the facades, the central entrance, window and door openings of the architectural monument. During the work, the roof was strengthened, waterproofing was updated and the drainage system was replaced.

"In cases of evasion of repair and restoration work, in addition to the imposition of administrative fines, the owners are obliged by court order to properly maintain the facilities or such buildings are seized," said Deputy Governor of Kuban Roman Luzinov.

The building was erected with elements of the pseudo-Russian style. A glass factory was previously located inside the building. After nationalization, the administration, club and canteen of the glass container enterprise were located in the building.
