Educational and production cluster in the chemical industry opens in Gus-Khrustalny

On September 3, the Gus Glass College will host the grand opening of the educational and production center (cluster) in the chemical industry "Gus-Khrustalny". Representatives of the Government and the Legislative Assembly, the Vladimir Region, heads of educational organizations, industrial enterprises, and students will take part in the ceremony. The event will include master classes, tours of the created modern workshops, and class hours "You are in good company". The educational and production cluster was created with the support of the Government of the Vladimir Region. It includes 3 professional educational organizations: Gus Glass College, Vladimir Chemical-Mechanical College, and Petushinsky Industrial and Humanitarian College, as well as 9 partner enterprises: JSC "Gus Glass Factory named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky, Krasnoe Ekho LLC, Expo Glass LLC, Vladimir Chemical Plant PJSC, Rusatom Steklovolokno JSC, Megastek LLC, Experimental Glass Plant LLC, and LEKKO LLC.

Modern work areas equipped with high-tech equipment will welcome 265 first-year students who have decided to participate in the federal project "Professionality" on September 3. This initiative is in line with the objectives of the national projects "Education" and "Labor Productivity".

The project allows for targeted training of personnel for enterprises in the real sector of the regional economy, and to train students with maximum focus on practice. This is an effective model of co-financing educational organizations and investments in the development of the region's human resources potential. The project's graduates are young ambitious professionals who will be able to become active participants in solving the problems of import substitution and technological sovereignty of the country.

It is important to note that the prestige of blue-collar jobs is steadily growing, and today more than 60 percent of ninth-graders choose to study at colleges in order to build a career and stand firmly on their feet from a young age.
