A glass factory project worth 684.4 million rubles is being implemented in Grozny

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic - Minister of Economic and Territorial Development of the Chechen Republic Rustam Shaptukaev held a working meeting with the current resident of the Grozny SEZ, Aldhab Nadim, head of the Groz-Steklo company, during which issues related to the implementation of the investment project on the territory of the Grozny SEZ were discussed.

The project implementation consists of organizing the production of double-glazed windows and glass products, tempered glass, partitions and architectural facade structures and armoring of glass products.

The total cost of the project is 684.4 million rubles. It is planned to create up to 50 jobs. The planned period for the project implementation is 2023-2029.

At the moment, the project is at the design stage. In addition, issues of supplying the necessary equipment are being worked out. Eight residents are currently registered in the Grozny SEZ.

"I am confident that with the start of the customs post operation in the near future in this SEZ, the number of residents will increase, because customs benefits also play a major role in the implementation of certain projects," Rustam Shaptukaev noted during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister also added that the Ministry of Economic Development of the Chechen Republic will provide comprehensive support in the implementation of the project.
