A unique plant for the production of glass and architectural double-glazed windows will be built in Blagoveshchensk

In the Amur capital, they plan to build a plant unique for the Far East for the production of modern translucent structures, where they will produce various types of glass and double-glazed windows. The initiator of the project was the Home Master group of companies, which intends to obtain the status of a TOP resident. The Amur Region Investment Promotion Agency is already looking for a suitable plot of land for the construction of a new facility.

Window to new production

The largest representative of the “window business” of the Amur Region plans to conquer new horizons - to build a plant for the production of tempered, fire-resistant, bullet-resistant and laminated glass, as well as architectural glass units for facade glazing. The project was presented during a recent visit to Blagoveshchensk by a delegation from the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. First Deputy Director of KRDV Andrey Ivanov, employees of the Investment Promotion Agency headed by Director Pavel Puzanov and head of Amurskaya Management Company LLC Alexei Loginov took part in the meeting with investors whose projects are applied for or have already been included in the TOP.

The Blagoveshchensk company "Home Master" is a major manufacturer of translucent structures and a leader in the production and installation of PVC and aluminum window and door systems in the region. According to the head of the company, many economically important objects are being built in the Amur region, which will require glazing. It will also be possible to transform the architectural appearance of the streets. It is hoped to commission a new workshop for the production of tempered glass and architectural glass units by 2025. The investor is confident that there will be demand for products outside the region.

“This direction is now developing, and our company, as one of the largest glass processors in the Far East, is faced with a shortage of goods in the regional market,” says Oleg Basmanov, General Director of Home Master. - Based on the data of the largest glass manufacturer in Russia, more than 500 thousand square meters of architectural glass units are imported to the territory of the Far East from Moscow, Siberia and the Urals. Subject to the commissioning of a new workshop, our company will be able to meet half of the needs of the Far East, as well as give an impetus to the emergence of objects of complex and expressive architectural form using glass. The entry of the project into the TOP in the future opens up the possibility of exporting complex double-glazed windows to Asia and other countries, which will improve the export attractiveness of the region.

Glazing course

To implement the project, the company plans to purchase more than 10 types of equipment, including a line for tempering flat glass in the PRC, multifunctional machining centers, lines for automatic polishing and edge processing, ceramic glass painting, an HST furnace with a triplex function, cranes, and lines for the production of insulating glass units.

"The production of tempered glass is a rather complicated and laborious process. In many ways it is similar to the production of ordinary sheet glass, but at the last stage, thermal and chemical treatment is required."

Tempered glass can be used in the production of high-strength double-glazed windows, automobile and mechanical engineering, instrument making, glazing of lamps, glass domes and showcases, high-rise buildings, attics, inclined facades, small architectural forms - kiosks, passenger transport stops. Also, the plant's products will be used in the production of furniture, household appliances, the construction of translucent stairs, partitions and other interior solutions, the manufacture of billboards and external light boards.

Tempered glass can be used in the Amur region when implementing housing construction projects for a gas processing plant and the Amur gas chemical complex, glazing at the Vostochny cosmodrome, a shopping center with a hotel at the intersection of Krasnoarmeyskaya and Shevchenko streets in Blagoveshchensk and others. There are also promising objects in the Khabarovsk Territory and Primorye.

Companies will help solve the land issue

- Today, the possibility of investment in production is limited by the area of buildings and structures. Our land plots are used 100 percent. To implement the project, it is necessary to build a workshop on a new site, - said the head of the Home Master Group. - The company plans to erect a new building with an area of 10 thousand square meters, it will have efficient energy consumption and water treatment complexes.

"The Amur company will be able to meet half of the needs of the Far East in architectural glass-blades."

It will be a frame-type building, which will be built using modern technologies; it is planned to make access roads and improve the territory. The planned volume of investments at the first stage is more than 400 million rubles. The manufacturer promises to create over 50 new jobs; during the development, highly qualified specialists will be employed - designers, engineers, technologists.

The Home Master project is being supported by the regional Investment Promotion Agency.

- We are currently selecting land plots for the construction of the plant. It is planned to include the project in the list of priority investment projects, which will allow obtaining land without bidding, - commented Pavel Puzanov, director of the Amurskaya Oblast Investment Promotion Agency, to Amurskaya Pravda. - Also in the plans - to assign the company the status of a resident of the TOP. For this, it is necessary to expand the boundaries of the territory of priority development "Priamurskaya". At the moment, the necessary documents are being prepared.

Investors - the status of a resident of the TOP

During the meeting, REGION Group of Companies also presented its projects, which is building a transport and logistics terminal near the bridge over the Amur River and the cable car on the territory of the Amur Region. Also, there were presentations by the representative of Tachin LLC, specializing in wood processing, and the financial director of PTK Vostok LLC (reinforced concrete plant). Most of the initiators of the initiatives have already submitted applications for residents and are awaiting a decision.

- At the moment, I do not see any problems for investors to receive the status of a resident of the TOP. For our part, we are ready to help do this. The more investors and jobs there will be in the Amur Region, the better, - stressed Andrey Ivanov, First Deputy General Director of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.

For reference:

Home Master was founded in 1994 in Blagoveshchensk and is one of the largest factories in the Far East for the production of modern PVC and aluminum structures, components for the production of windows and building materials. The production capacity allows for the production of more than 50,000 sq. m of PVC products per year. The enterprise is equipped with modern equipment from German and Italian companies.
