In the Belgorod region will produce bulletproof glass

Production is a joint project of the Ostek old-Oskol plant and the regional department of economic development, the department said. It has the status of a participant in the import substitution program.

The design capacity of the plant is 7.5 thousand m² of triplex glass per month. The expected annual revenue of the enterprise is prescribed in the project in the amount of 200 million rubles. The project will cost investors 56.5 million rubles. The plant will employ about 30 people.

The company carried out commissioning. Equipment for processing and tempering of flat glass has already been tested in operation. Officially, the plant will begin work in October 2019.

It is reported that such products have no production analogues in the Black Earth region.
