An enterprise for the production of glass containers will be created in Azerbaijan

It is planned to build a new plant for the production of glass containers in the Sumgayit Industrial Park.

This was stated in the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones of Azerbaijan.

It was noted that the enterprise worth 44.4 million manats will be built on an area of two hectares.

“The enterprise will be built on the basis of an agreement reached between German HORN Glass Industries AG and Azerbaijani Glassica. The German company will prepare a project of the enterprise and equip it with all devices necessary for production,” the agency said.

It should be noted that the annual production capacity of the enterprise will be 160 tons of glass containers. 160 permanent jobs will be created.

“In addition to selling the products manufactured at the enterprise on the domestic market, it is also planned to export them to far-abroad countries,” the agency added.
