Participation of the Association «StekloSouz» of Russia in the International Export Forum «Made in Russia» 2023

On October 19-20, 2023, the International Export Forum “Made in Russia” was held in Moscow.

Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin in his report highly appreciated domestic producers of non-resource non-energy products. He stated that import substitution is picking up pace and covering many segments at the macroeconomic level with high-quality products from domestic producers.

At the same time, the state provides all possible support to Russian companies through development institutions. The amount of state support for an enterprise with financial resources gives a high result. The company's products are in great demand not only on the Russian market, but also in other countries. Exports of Russian goods are growing, including thanks to government funding of programs to support export-oriented enterprises. Based on the results of 9 months of 2023, companies received 750 billion rubles for development and assistance work will continue.

This practice is fully justified, since it is returned in the form of taxes to the country’s budget system. For 9 months, revenues amounted to 313 billion rubles. The total volume of non-resource exports in 2023 exceeded 990 billion rubles.

In conclusion, Mikhail Mishustin expressed the hope that all export-oriented industries will continue to work to develop domestic production. In turn, the state will create all the necessary conditions to support research institutes and finance R&D in 2024.

The glass industry was represented at the meeting by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.

As you know, according to EU statistics, the glass industry of the Russian Federation is in the top five in exports, along with the metallurgical, chemical industries and producers of mineral fertilizers.

Currently, "StekloSouz" continues to work in this direction. This year, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia took part with a collective stand at the world glass exhibition in Italy.

In September 2023, a glass exhibition was held in the UAE, where "StekloSouz" participated as an information sponsor.

Other work is being carried out to maintain the export of Russian glass products at a high level.

On November 30, 2023, the 24th annual international Forum “Glass and Modern Technologies-XXI” will take place at the Russian Chemical Technology University named after. D. Mendeleev at the address: Moscow, Miusskaya Square, 9, Big Assembly Hall (entrance from 1st Miusskaya Street, 3 / checkpoint).

Discussion of exciting issues will continue within the framework of the forum. The decisions made will be sent by the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia to the Government of the Russian Federation to defend the interests of the glass industry.
