Tyumen students got acquainted with the work of the Steklotech plant

3rd-4th year students of Tyumen State University visited the Steklotech plant in the industrial zone of Bogandinsky as part of the implementation of the United Russia party projects "Clean Country" and "Green Economy".

According to the regional coordinator of the “Clean Country” project, Inna Loseva, “Steklokhlotekh” is a modern environmentally friendly production that uses recycled materials. And if in an educational institution children study theory and economics of enterprises, then at the enterprise they saw with their own eyes the entire production chain, saw how high-quality products are produced, consolidated theoretical knowledge, and were able to evaluate production processes from an environmental point of view.

“In the People's Program of United Russia, special attention is paid to the issue of creating a circular economy. Our regional team of the party project “Clean Country” cooperates with a number of enterprises that are actively developing the eco-direction, participating in environmental actions, one of them is Steklotech. Therefore, it is important to introduce our younger generation to this experience of organizing production, to show them successful examples of how companies work with care for the environment, and most importantly, to join the ranks of eco-volunteers,” emphasized Inna Loseva.

"Steklotech" is the largest plant in the Ural Federal District for the production of glass containers, production capacity is 300 million per year, 200 enterprises throughout the country use the plant's products, reports the press service of the Tyumen Regional Duma.

The experience of this production, according to the regional coordinator of the Green Economy project, Alexander Zelensky, is a vivid example of import substitution.

“The technologies that are used at the plant make it possible to provide high-quality goods to enterprises in our country,” he noted. “Today, students have the opportunity to see for themselves how domestic entrepreneurs work quite efficiently on the Russian market and provide all production needs.”

Tyumen State University has been a member of the International Scientific and Educational Consortium “Personnel for a Green Economy” for four years.

“Today’s excursion is an immersion in green topics with a practical component. Traditionally, we study many things in theory and understand how it should be, but when you look at it directly in production, it is already perceived completely differently,” said the director of the financial and economic department Institute of Tyumen State University Daria Lazutina.
