Sverdlovsk enterprises failed the requirement of Rospotrebnadzor

In the Sverdlovsk Region, 1,495 enterprises did not manage to submit documents on the boundaries of sanitary protection zones to Rospotrebnadzor. We are talking about the areas around the production, outside of which the impact on the environment meets the sanitary and epidemiological requirements. This was reported to URA.RU by the press service of the regional department of the department.

“On the territory of the Sverdlovsk region there are 2,575 objects that require the organization of sanitary protection zones. Work on the establishment of the SPZ has been completed for 1080 facilities, ”the department said. They noted that previously there were preliminary sanitary zones for many industries. They needed to be closed, and instead submit an application for the establishment of a SPZ by October 1. According to the law, if residential buildings, medical and sports facilities are located within the boundaries of the SPZ, enterprises are obliged to compensate the owners of the facilities for the damage caused or reduce the impact on the environment in these zones.

The presence of officially approved boundaries of the SPZ for enterprises is of great importance from the point of view of land use and residential development of the urban area: the more modern the production, the smaller the border of the sanitary protection zone around it. As previously reported at the Pervouralsk Novotrubniy Plant, which reported on the establishment of sanitary zones and entering their coordinates into the USRN, accounting for the project cost the company 35 million rubles.

Among others, the requirement of Rospotrebnadzor was fulfilled by FORES. “Before the deadline, FORES has carried out research, prepared projects and approved the boundaries of the SPZ for all production units. The decisions were received signed by the chief sanitary doctor, head of the Rospotrebnadzor of the Sverdlovsk region Dmitry Kozlovskikh, ”the press service of the company told URA.RU. “When developing [SPZ] projects, we had to take into account new adjustments and take into account more than one revision of standards by the time the final project appeared,” Tatyana Sarapultseva, the chief ecologist of FORES, told URA.RU.

Messages about the need to introduce sanitary protection zones for enterprises appeared in 2019. Information on the boundaries of the impact of all enterprises on the environment will appear in the public domain before January 1, 2025.
