The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation confirmed the readiness of Rosseti Center and Rosseti Center and Volga Region to operate during the heating season.

First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer Andrei Mayorov solemnly handed over documents confirming the successful completion of preparations for the autumn-winter maximum load by energy companies to the General Director of Rosseti Center, the managing organization of Rosseti Center and Volga Region, Igor Makovsky.

Rosseti Center and Rosseti Center and Volga Region completed all preparatory activities in full and in strict accordance with the deadlines. Over 45 thousand kilometers of 0.4-110 kV power transmission lines and more than 12 thousand 10 / 0.4 kV transformer substations were repaired. Repaired 71 power transformers at 35-110 kV substations. More than 30 thousand hectares of clearings of overhead power transmission lines have been cleared.

More than 11.8 thousand trainings were conducted with operational personnel, including more than 20 joint complex exercises with regional departments of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia and local authorities. 3905 teams consisting of 13,029 people, 4,515 units of automotive and special equipment are ready to eliminate accidents and emergency situations in the branches of Rosseti Center and Rosseti Center and Volga Region.

Power engineers have at their disposal more than two thousand reserve power supply sources (RISE) with a total capacity of more than 60 MW, which can be used for temporary power supply, primarily to socially significant objects in the regions. Of the highly qualified workers who received additional training, 171 emergency recovery teams of increased mobility were formed, consisting of more than a thousand people and over 400 pieces of equipment, ready at any time to move forward to eliminate emergencies in any region of Russia.

- The high-quality implementation of all preparatory activities by Rosseti Center and Rosseti Center and Volga Region not only guarantees the successful passage of the upcoming autumn-winter maximum loads, but also generally contributes to increasing the reliability of power supply to consumers in 20 regions of the country, reducing technological losses in the networks, reducing the number and time of elimination of technological violations, - said Igor Makovsky, General Director of Rosseti Center and Rosseti Center and Volga Region.

The branch "Rosseti Center Yarenergo" performed all the activities necessary for the successful passage of the autumn-winter period. One of the main conditions for the successful passage of the autumn-winter period (AWP) is the implementation of the repair program.

During the year, power engineers of the Yarenergo branch repaired 44 large 35-110 kV power supply centers, more than 730 kilometers of power transmission lines of all voltage classes, 252 transformer substations and distribution points. Almost two thousand power transmission line supports and over 4.2 thousand insulators were replaced.

To improve the reliability of the operation of overhead power transmission lines, 1,071 hectares of power lines were cleared of trees and shrubs. Among the significant objects, which underwent major and current repairs, there are large substations "Porechye", "Pesochnoe", "Makeikha", "Altynovo"; overhead power lines "Volzhskaya-1", "Stanilovo-1", "Vatolinskaya-1".

The branch allocated more than 227 million rubles for the implementation of the repair program in 2020. A significant project of the investment program of the Rosseti Center Yarenergo branch this year was the implementation of the second stage of reconstruction of the 110/35/10 kV Zalesye substation with the replacement of a 10 MVA transformer with a more powerful 16 MVA. The reconstruction of the facility made it possible to increase the reliability of socially important facilities in the Rybinsk region and to avoid overloading the substation.

Also, the specialists of the branch reconstructed more than a kilometer of cable power transmission lines to increase the reliable power supply of the Svyato-Vvedensky Tolgsky Convent - the largest convent in the country, recognized as a shrine of pilgrimage. A total of 144 kilometers of power transmission lines and 12 MVA of transformer capacity were put into operation.

The construction of new power transmission lines and transformer substations, in particular, made it possible to connect a fitness center, new apartment buildings to the power grids, and add capacity to a glass factory in the city of Yaroslavl. As part of the target program for the development of an automated process control system (ASTU) in the region, the technological control of 17 large substations with voltage of 35 and 110 kV in Yaroslavl, Borisoglebsk, Rostov, Rybinsk, Bolsheselsky, Uglich, Nekrasov and other regions was automated.

The feeding centers were equipped with modern telemechanics, relay protection and automation equipment, as well as digital communication channels. The operational and maintenance personnel of the branch have been trained to prevent emergencies in low temperatures.

In case of unscheduled repairs of equipment in Yarenergo, an emergency reserve and a staff of reserve power sources of 35 diesel generators located in all districts of the region have been fully formed. In the event of mass restoration work, 167 teams of 1,062 people and 223 units of equipment can be involved in the elimination of emergency situations.
