EAEU countries approved a roadmap for industrial cooperation until 2025

The parties also discussed issues of circulation of medical devices and taxation in the provision of services in electronic form.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk on Friday took part in a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), at which a roadmap was approved for the implementation of the main directions of cooperation of the participating countries in the field of industry until 2025. This was reported on Saturday on the website of the Russian Cabinet.

"The meeting participants approved a roadmap for the implementation of the main areas of industrial cooperation in the EAEU until 2025. The document includes a list of relevant measures in all six areas identified by the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in April 2021," the message says.

The parties also discussed issues of circulation of medical devices and taxation in the provision of services in electronic form. An updated procedure for the import of products subject to mandatory conformity assessment was approved.

The meeting of the EAEU Council was held in the format of a video conference. According to the government's website, the next one will take place on December 3 in Moscow.
