According to the information voiced by the akim of the Kyzylorda region Kuanyshbek Iskakov, the new glass will release the first glass by the Day of the capital - July 6.

In half a year, the first sheet glass factory in Kazakhstan will be launched in Kyzylorda.

The construction of the plant lasted five years.

“Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control because of issues arising between the founders, the commissioning of the plant was somewhat delayed, but work is ongoing,” Iskakov told the press. - The contracting company China Triumph International plans to complete construction and installation work in December this year, to carry out the so-called cold start, and to launch the furnace in March 2020. Start-up glass manufacturing technology requires warm weather. ”

A new plant in the industrial zone of Kyzylorda will issue its first products in summer.

“By the Day of the capital, it is planned to release the first products at the glass factory,” Iskakov specified.

Recall that the project for the construction of a sheet glass plant with a capacity of 600 tons of products per day in Kyzylorda is being implemented as part of the republican industrialization map. Its customer and operator is Orda Glass ltd LLP. The project cost is about 37 billion tenge.

Initially, the plant was built with the participation of shareholders of ARP company LLP, Kazakhstan Investment Fund JSC and Stewart Engineers (USA). The American participants then left the project, and now the Chinese company is completing it. At the One Belt, One Way International Economic Forum in Beijing in May 2017, a bilateral agreement was signed between the Chinese company China Triumph International, a subsidiary of the China National Building Materials Corporation, China National Building Materials and Orda Glass ltd LLP. and completion of the plant.

The plans of the Chinese partners are not only the completion of the global construction in Kyzylorda, but also the further development of glass production in Kazakhstan. More than once in the akimat of the Kyzylorda region, information was voiced that after the commissioning of the sheet glass plant in the industrial zone of Kyzylorda, construction of the second stage of the plant will begin - the production of ultra-thin glass for smartphones and tablets. And then the construction of the third plant here - to produce armored glass and windshields for cars.
