On September 24, 2024, a joint meeting of the heads of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR) and the EcoLine Group of Companies was held as part of business cooperation with related industries.
The issues of supplying secondary raw materials for glass factories were discussed.
As is known, the Government of the Russian Federation has approved very strict requirements for glass manufacturers (ROP).
Glass factories are looking for ways and methods of interaction with holdings specializing in the processing of raw materials (MSW, MSW) for the production of secondary raw materials.
Aleksey Savin, Chairman of the SSR Committee on Ecology, reported on the current situation regarding the implementation of state requirements. He dwelt in detail on the issues of implementing investment projects with state support for enterprises in the real sector of the economy to align the requirements for the processing of cullet in order to fulfill the ROP for glass container production.
Vadim Sergeev, CEO of Ecovector LLC, spoke about projects for separate collection of broken glass and development of production for recycling broken glass before it reaches landfills.
The meeting was chaired by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia. Closing the event, he expressed confidence that the construction of production facilities for obtaining secondary raw materials for remelting at glass factories will systematize this issue and improve environmental problems.
The meeting made decisions.
* Work on the topic of supplies of secondary raw materials for glass factories will be continued at the 25th annual international Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI", which will be held on November 21-22, 2024 at the State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution of Higher Education "Gus Glass College" named after G.F.
