Joint meeting of the leaders of the Association StekloSouz of Russia and the International Industrial Academy on further education issues

As part of the implementation of the decision of the heads of glass factories at the Forum “Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI” dated December 14, 2023, including on the organization of additional professional education (DPO), a joint meeting of the heads of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR) and "International Industrial Academy" (IPA).

The meeting took place on the territory of the MPA.

President Viktor Osipov took part in the meeting from the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, and President Vyacheslav Butkovsky from the International Industrial Academy.

The meeting was held with the participation of those responsible for the educational process from the SSR and the IPA.

Currently, MPA trains specialists in the following specialties:

✔ Industrial safety and labor protection. Ecology.

1. “Changes to legislation in the field of industrial safety that came into force in 2024, application practice. System of legislative and regulatory regulation of industrial safety certification, training and testing of knowledge of labor protection requirements”, (24 hours)

2. “Current problems of environmental protection and ensuring environmental safety of enterprises in the construction industry, ways and means of solving them, in connection with changes in legislation in the field of environmental protection and environmental safety,” (24 hours)

✔ Mechanical Services

3. “Main directions for improving equipment maintenance and repair work. A set of works on instrumental monitoring and diagnostics of rotating equipment”, (24 hours)

✔ For HR specialists

4. “Labor law - innovations and changes 2024. Legal regulation of personnel activities. Labor law and interaction with other industries. Principles of regulation of labor relations. Judicial practice (cases)", (16 hours)

5. “Internal Regulations (IRR). Development of local regulations, determination of deadlines and stages. The procedure for hiring and dismissing employees, basic rights, duties and responsibilities of the parties to the employment contract, working hours, rest periods, incentives and penalties applied to employees. Recommendations for the development of PVTR", (16 hours)

6. “Military registration 2024.” – changes, inspections, new fines. Legal aspects, documentation and methodological recommendations for maintaining military records”, (16 hours)

✔ Economics, management, finance

7. “Economics and management in industrial enterprises”, (24 hours)

8. “Innovative solutions for accounting and taxation”, (24 hours)

9. Using the Lean Manufacturing system to improve the efficiency of enterprise equipment. Energy efficiency of industrial enterprises. Management decisions - goals, tools, practice”, (24 hours)

10. “Independent declaration: theory and practice. How to independently register a declaration of conformity through an electronic service”, (16 hours)

The Scientific and Technical Center of the SSR (STC SSR) proposed to expand the list of specialties necessary for the successful development of the glass industry, including the proper operation of glass furnaces and mold kits.

Currently, SSR, together with interested industry experts, is preparing training programs for further education. In 2024, it is planned to begin training in additional specialties on the basis of the IPA.

As is known, specialists from many specialties undergo further professional training at a number of higher and secondary educational institutions, incl. operators of glass-forming machines, glassmakers, mechanics, technologists and other specialties.

Members of the Presidium of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia are confident that by increasing the level of higher, secondary, additional and special education, the reliability of the factories will increase, the economic situation, profitability and competitiveness will strengthen.

As part of the decisions taken, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia will routinely implement educational processes necessary for enterprises.
