Association «StekloSouz» of Russia. Meeting on the implementation of safety precautions and industrial safety in the glass industry

On June 20, 2024, the Association "StekloSoyuz" of Russia (hereinafter referred to as SSR) held a meeting on the implementation of safety precautions and industrial safety in the glass industry.

The meeting was attended by heads of relevant departments and committees of the SSR.

Pyotr Shchetinin, General Director of Promtekhexport LLC, was invited to the meeting.

As is known, this company produces and supplies personal protective equipment to the Russian glass market for specialists in particularly hazardous areas of work and provides factories with the necessary products for industrial safety in the production activities of glass factories and industrial glass processing plants.

Currently, the Government of the Russian Federation has approved a number of decrees that tighten the requirements for certification of workplaces and compliance by enterprises with conditions for safe work.

Statistics of injuries in the glass industry for 2023 and the 1st quarter of 2024 were announced.

SSR experts have prepared the legal materials necessary for factories to timely address the increased state requirements for industrial safety.

It was noted that, in general, plant managers strictly comply with current legislation and have certificates of conformity necessary for safe production.

The meeting participants made decisions.

Including:

✔ organize additional education (DPO) for glass industry specialists. Prepare a training program together with the International Industrial Academy

✔ organize an industry standard, etc.

The meeting was chaired by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.
