Association «StekloSouz» of Russia. Meeting on providing glass factories with high-quality raw materials

On August 02, 2022, a scheduled meeting was held at the Association StekloSouz of Russia on the issues of providing glass factories with high-quality raw materials.

The main attention in the reports of the meeting participants was given to the supply of soda ash.

As you know, Russian soda producers systematically increase the cost of domestic soda, which puts a sharp pressure on the cost of glass products.

Reporting material was presented by: Pavel Gorshkov, Director of the Department of Glass Containers and Andrey Gorin, Director of the Department of Flat Glass and Industrial Processing. Both leaders reported that they are working with Trade House "Bashkhim" and the FAS Russia.

Trade House "Bashkhim" has calculations agreed with the antimonopoly service, which allow us to maintain a high price bar.

"StekloSouz" of Russia prepared its own pricing calculation, which was sent to Trade House Bashkhim and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.

At the same time, negotiations are underway with a number of countries on the supply of alternative soda ash to Russia.

The meeting was chaired by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.

Decisions have been made. In particular, to continue work on the import of soda ash to the domestic glass market.
