Workshop of the Association of StekloSouz of Russia

On October 18, 2019, a working meeting was held in the StekloSouz of Russia (hereinafter referred to as the SSR) under the chairmanship of the President of the Association of the SSR, Osipov Viktor Ivanovich, in which the Vice-President of the Association of the SSR Shebanov Vladislav Anatolyevich, as well as the head of the recently created Representative Office of the Association of the SSR in the South and North- Caucasian Federal Districts Tulinov Vyacheslav Vitalievich.

The representative office of the Association of the SSR in the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts (hereinafter referred to as the Representative Office), located in the Rostov Region, was created to introduce innovative technologies aimed at solving urgent problems facing glass industry enterprises taking into account the key objectives of the Clean Country project aimed at reducing environmental damage associated with the disposal of municipal solid waste, in particular glass containers and cullet. Currently, several collection points for collecting glass containers and cullet are organized in the Rostov region, where anyone can go. The Representative Office also carries out systematic work on coordination of information, marketing, educational, exhibition programs.

The workshop discussed the expansion of the network of glass container collection points in the Rostov Region, the establishment of fruitful cooperation with state authorities, local authorities, individuals wishing to hand over glass containers, and supported the initiative to formulate proposals for the harmonization of legislation related to the collection of glass and glass containers.
