Reduction of the list of existing exemptions in the domestic market of the EAEU

Dear colleagues!

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia received information that in order to increase the level of integration within the Eurasian Economic Union, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, together with the Eurasian Economic Commission, is working to reduce the list of existing exemptions in the domestic market of the EAEU (hereinafter - the List).

Exceptions are permissible deviations of the EAEU member states from the general rules for the functioning of the EAEU internal market, provided for by the law of the EAEU.

Please consider the List and send it no later than October 24, 2022 to the StekloSoyuz Association of Russia at the email address osipov@steklosouz.ru :

- information on the exemptions of the Russian Federation, which are currently no longer relevant or which can be eliminated before 2025 (with an indication of the approximate timing of their elimination);

- substantiated proposals for maintaining the exemptions of the Russian Federation;

- proposals for the elimination of exemptions of the EAEU member states, the effect of which hinders the economic interests of the Russian Federation.
