Sibsteklo was assigned a credit rating

The ACRA Rating Agency has assigned a credit rating to Sibsteklo LLC (an asset of RATM Holding) at BB- on the national scale with a stable outlook.

“As part of the implementation of the financial strategy, Sibsteklo considers bond loans as a way to attract investment and the availability of a rating will allow investors to quickly obtain information about the reliability of the enterprise, without plunging into a detailed analysis,” comments Irina Ryabysheva, vice president of RATM Holding for investment and financial policy. - The company was classified as BB-, which indicates a sufficient level of solvency. In this case, the securities will have an optimal ratio of risk / return parameters. ACRA has rather strict criteria for assessing credit quality, but Sibsteklo, as an issuer, has every opportunity to upgrade its rating.

ACRA analysts took into account that Sibsteklo is one of the top 5 largest manufacturers of glass containers in Russia. They also noted a stable contract base - Sibsteklo has been interacting with the main customers for more than five years. The rating was positively influenced by good geographical diversification of sales and high level of business profitability. Glass complexes are located in close proximity to sales markets (the Novosibirsk region accounts for about 35% of sales), products are supplied to other regions and exported. The production model is flexible enough: it takes about three hours to replace one range of glass containers with another.

According to ACRA forecasts, starting from 2022, the company's revenue will increase due to the development of capacities. Recall that in 2021, a new glass-melting furnace was commissioned at the plant, as a result, the production of glass products will grow by 30% - up to 850 million units per year.

In addition, Sibsteklo is improving its internal efficiency - the Board of Directors has begun to work, and management procedures have been regulated.
