«Sibsteklo» has been awarded the official status of «Partner of National Projects of Russia»

Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about the member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, LLC Siberian Glass (Sibsteklo):

OOO Sibirskoye Steklo (Sibsteklo, one of the leading glass container manufacturers in Russia, an asset of RATM Holding) became a finalist of the National Award "Our Contribution", operated by ANO "National Priorities". In the category "Large Business. Regions", the plant presented the project "Reducing the Environmental Load by Increasing the Use of Glass Waste and Producing a Super-Light Bottle".

The National Award "Our Contribution" is a mechanism for publicly recognizing the role of business and NGOs in implementing the objectives of national projects. In the 2023-2024 season, 632 applications from 270 companies and organizations from all over the country were received for participation in the ranking. The finalists passed verification and were awarded the status of "Partner of National Projects of Russia".

Summing up the results, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, who headed the expert council of the award, emphasized that modern entrepreneurs and NGOs carry out their activities with a clear focus on national goals and thereby support the state's initiatives in strategically important areas.

According to Eduard Taran, President of RATM Holding, within the framework of the green agenda, Sibsteklo is ready to use its capabilities to accelerate the development of a closed-loop economy. Specific areas are defined in agreements with the executive authorities of the Siberian regions and the Russian Ecological Operator.

- The award confirmed the importance of this work, which encourages Sibsteklo to offer promising solutions for the formation of algorithms for the rational consumption of resources and a sustainable system for handling solid municipal waste, taking into account the interests of the enterprise, government and society, - comments Eduard Taran. - ESG principles are integrated into the company's strategy, thanks to which they achieve production and financial results, reducing the impact on the environment.
