Господдержка предприятий-производителей строительных материалов
Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about a member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, Siberian Glass LLC (“Sibsteklo”):
Siberian Glass LLC (Sibsteklo, the largest manufacturer of glass containers outside the Urals, an asset of RATM Holding) received a patent for a super-light bottle.
The validity period of a patent issued for an invention is 20 years. The invention is considered to be a method for molding a rough blank for the production of a narrow-neck glass product. At Sibstekl, this method is used to significantly reduce the weight of glass containers - in increments of minus 10-12%, which also involves the development of design solutions for each brand of drinks, taking into account the features of the bottle, first of all, the design.
“By improving technology, we strive to increase the capitalization of the enterprise, which is facilitated by the presence of patents for inventions, utility models and industrial designs,” said Anton Mor, General Director of Siberian Glass LLC. – Intellectual property objects that have a real market value are significant intangible assets that, after evaluation, must be displayed on the company’s balance sheet. This will allow investors to gain an objective understanding of the value of the business.
According to Anton Mohr, the introduction of innovation in a seemingly traditional industry is driven by the need to improve the efficiency of production processes and expand the capabilities of the plant, satisfying the needs of partners focused on sustainable development.
Let us remind you that in collaboration with the largest brewing company AB InBev Efes, Sibstekl specialists lightened the bottle from 265 to a record 235 grams. The volume has been preserved, the glass product meets GOST - all requirements for geometry, light transmission, resistance to hydrostatic pressure, etc.
Various types of beer “Stary Melnik iz Bochonok” began to be produced in new ultra-light containers. Using it, AB InBev Efes reduces CO2 emissions in the glass packaging supply chain (by 10% per unit of production). In turn, Sibstekl is increasing productivity while using the same amount of material resources. From one ton of glass melt, you can make 3,773 bottles weighing 265 grams, or 4,255 super-light 235-gram bottles - 13% more.
