«Sibsteklo» joined the national project «Labor productivity»

The agreement on cooperation in the implementation of the activities of the national project Siberian Glass LLC (an asset of RATM Holding, the largest producer of glass containers in the Urals, a resident of the Ekran industrial park) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region were signed at the end of last week.

Let us recall that the national project uniting enterprises of the basic non-resource sectors of the economy was initiated as part of the execution of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 7, 2018 No. 204 "On national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024."

In three months, a working group from among the plant's specialists, together with experts from the RCC, will determine a pilot stream for optimization and draw up an action plan to introduce the principles of lean production, which will be implemented over the next three months - the so-called active phase. Further, also with the expert support of the RCC, the experience gained is replicated to other sites. Within the framework of the project, the enterprise will be provided with access to educational programs of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation “Productivity Leaders” and “Export Growth Accelerator” (training is provided at the expense of the federal budget); employees will take part in internships at the "Process Factory", where they will simulate production processes to work out changes.

At Sibsteklo they expect to get a tangible economic effect from cooperation with experts from federal and regional centers of competence.

- The system must be adapted to the specifics of the company's activities - thus, we form a range of opportunities for improvement, - comments the general director of Siberian Glass LLC Anton Mor, - Regardless of the industry affiliation of the enterprise, identifying bottlenecks and rational use of resources, searching for internal reserves allow you to achieve greater productivity while reducing losses. At the same time, the increase in the production of glass products corresponds to the development strategy of Sibsteklo, taking into account the needs of the target market.
