Saratovstroysteklo plans to produce especially transparent glass

The Saratovstroysteklo plant is implementing a large-scale investment project to begin production of highly transparent glass. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Industry and Energy.

The company is reconstructing and carrying out technical re-equipment of the flat glass line (LTF-5) with a capacity of 700 tons per day, which has been in continuous operation since 2009.

The investment project is designed for 2023 - 2025. It is believed that its implementation will ensure the production of glass in accordance with GOST 111-2014, which has an increased light transmittance.

The total investment volume will be 4.6 billion rubles, of which 940 million in 2023 were provided by the Industrial Development Fund in the form of a preferential loan. This year the planned volume of capital investments is 2.4 billion.

Saratovstroysteklo is part of the Salavatsteklo group of companies and is one of the main glass manufacturers in Russia, specializing in the production of transparent sheet glass and glass with energy-saving and sun-protective coatings.
