Russians began to receive a discount on the export of MSW for the delivery of bottles to fandomats

Residents of Belgorod were able to save money on the waste disposal service thanks to the delivery of containers to the fandomats and a special system of bonuses, they received a discount of up to 88.5 rubles for housing and communal services. The first 10 machines were installed as part of a pilot project by a Russian environmental operator. Over the past week, Belgorod residents have handed over 4,410 containers.

“To form a circular economy, it is necessary to involve as much waste into circulation as possible. In order for the population to participate in this, a system of incentives is needed. To do this, REO will launch a whole network of fandomats throughout the country. People will be able to exchange containers for bonuses and real discounts. Belgorod residents were among the first to start saving on utility bills with the help of fandomats. Encouraging citizens to separate collection is one of the tasks within the framework of the MSW management reform, ”said Denis Butsaev, General Director of the REO PPK.

“The figures for the volume of containers collected per day in Belgorod show the keen interest of citizens in the separate collection of waste and new formats of standard solutions.

The regions' interest in such solutions throughout Russia is a step towards the return of useful fractions to economic circulation and an effective element of the closed-cycle economy, "said Mikhail Panchenko, Advisor to the General Director of the Russian Environmental Operator PPK.

Over the past week, from December 6 to December 12, Belgorod residents handed over 4,410 units of recyclable materials to the fandomats, and during the entire operation of vending machines in the city, 31,225 units of recyclable waste were collected: plastic containers - 24,860 units and aluminum cans - 6,365 units. Most often, residents hand over TOMMOLOCO milk containers, in second place - two-liter Coca-Cola, in third - Coca-Cola 900 ml, which displaced mineral water.

Residents are also connected to the system of bonuses, thanks to which you can get a discount on utility bills. The number of people registered on the ecoplatform.ru/ website has grown to 1222 people, and the amount of bonuses awarded by fandomats amounted to 294,120. Over the past week, from December 6 to 12, 79 users logged in to the service. Among them, seven chose to convert EcoBonuses into a discount on the service "MSW handling". In December, three residents of Belgorod received a discount on the municipal service “MSW management”. In November, users received 6.5 rubles from the delivery of recyclable materials to fandomats, 63.5 rubles. and 88.5 rubles. discounts. Thus, the inhabitants of the region really save on the disposal of solid municipal waste.

In addition, a new column "Recalculation / penalty" appeared in the single payment document, where the amount of the discount is indicated. EcoBonuses can also be converted into points at VkusVill and the SYNERGETIC online store.

“The introduction of fandomats in the region is a big leap forward towards segregated waste collection and sustainable consumption. It is especially good when the regional government encourages the initiative of citizens who collect recyclable materials for processing, making it possible to save on utility bills, in this case, this is the service “handling MSW”, ”said Daniil Medvedev, Acting General Director of CEB LLC.

The first 10 fandomats were installed in Belgorod at the end of October 2021. In total, 600 fandomats will appear in the region, containers can be exchanged for bonuses, and, for example, you can get a discount on housing and communal services. Each fandomat will collect on average over 300 containers per day.
