Russians can be exempted from tax on delivery of bottles

Taxes on income of individuals received from the delivery of waste and recyclable materials for processing can be canceled. So far, this rule applies only to waste paper, but this may change, admitted the chairman of the committee on ecology and environmental protection Vladimir Burmatov.

“When taxes on income from the delivery of waste paper were canceled, it was beneficial to everyone, - Vladimir Burmatov explained. - If the same is with glass containers, plastic, scrap metal, then yes, it’s worth it.”

At the same time, he drew attention to the experience of the USSR in the 1980s. Then, according to Burmatov, the waste management system (collection of waste paper and scrap metal, recycling glass containers) was more effective than today. And some of the experience of past years should be taken into service in the future, the deputy believes.
