REO has published a schedule of webinars on EPR

The Russian environmental operator has launched a new series of webinars on the extended producer responsibility (EPR) mechanism. REO publishes a schedule of online meetings to be held in March 2025.

“We are opening a series of webinars on EPR for business representatives. They will learn who is an EPR subject, who submits waste disposal reports, how to prepare documentation for inclusion in the register of waste disposal companies, and much more. Our goal is to help bona fide participants in the industry and related areas so that they do not perceive the measures necessary for the development of the industry as an additional administrative burden,” said REO CEO Denis Butsaev.

The online meetings will be held in 18 regions and in each federal district of the Russian Federation. Anyone can join them via the link.

Ivanovo Region — March 12 at 14:00;

“We would like to remind you that you must submit reports on the disposal of waste from the use of goods by April 15. At the webinars, we explain how to do this correctly and on time. We also often receive documentation with errors from those who submit to the register of recyclers, we will look into this issue as well,” noted Igor Zabralov, Director of Sustainable Development at REO.

Including the organization of separate collection of glass waste, recognition of glass factories as recyclers, tariffs, standards, VAT and other areas necessary for the development of secondary raw materials production.
