The development of the sheet glass plant was discussed at a meeting with the head of Dagestan

On June 10, a meeting took place between the head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salavatsteklo JSC Radik Sultanov.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic Nizam Khalilov, Deputy General Director of Salavatsteklo JSC Margarita Vasilyeva, General Director of Salavatsteklo Caspiy LLC Fanil Gumerov.

The company's headquarters was built in the 60s of the last century in Bashkiria. In 2010, the glass factories of Salavatsteklo JSC and Saratovstroysteklo JSC were merged. In 2021, the Caspian sheet glass plant, located in Dagestan, purchased from bankruptcy, was added to the group of companies, then renamed Salavatsteklo Caspiy.

Now the total capacity of the three plants is: 4 float lines for the production of flat glass with a total capacity of 2400 tons per day, 2 lines for the production of architectural glass and coated glass with a capacity of 14 million square meters. m per year, 1 line for the production of mirrors and glass with paint coating with a capacity of 4 million sq. m per year, production of glass, colored in mass.

The head of Dagestan noted the role of the representative of the owner of the largest taxpayer in Dagestan:

“Today you are the ambassador of your republic not only in other regions, but throughout the world. It’s nice that the representative of Bashkiria, in such a difficult time, finds opportunities and strength, great potential to strengthen the economic bloc of our country. Because the work you are doing today, and it’s not just about glass production, new projects and proposals, is in the trend of the entire economic development of Russia, as our president recently spoke about at the forum.”

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Company noted a number of goals of the enterprise:

“We have important goals and objectives. And in general, we manage to solve them. In particular, we are actively developing relationships with those countries that have remained friendly to us. Well-known companies that are on everyone's lips turn to us. These are giants of industry, primarily Russian.”
