RATM Holding celebrates its 30th anniversary

The company relied on the diversification of business areas and gave a second life to factories with a Soviet past that strengthened the industrial power of the country. Representatives of the authorities and the business community congratulated RATM Holding on its anniversary.

Addressing the employees, Eduard Taran, President of RATM Holding, called them “bearers of unique corporate experience”: in many respects, thanks to the competencies of these people, the potential for confident movement forward was created. Technological base, accumulated traditions allow the enterprises of RATM Holding, located both in the European part of Russia and in Siberia, to strengthen their leadership positions in the specialized markets.

“Over 30 years of operation, RATM Holding has established itself as a leading industrial holding, whose enterprises are actively increasing production capacities,” noted Vasily Shpak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, noting the technical level of products, “which is especially important in ensuring innovative and sovereign development of the country".

For a quarter of a century, the Moscow JSC NPO Gidromash has been operating in the status of a research and production center for ship pumping.

“NPO Gidromash has formed a team of highly qualified specialists, constantly replenished by graduates from leading Moscow universities, which allowed the association to become the leading enterprise in the field of mechanical engineering,” said Alexei Krivoruchko, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation. “Currently, an integrated approach is being successfully applied here in solving the most complex technological and design problems for many industries.”

Along with Gidromash, import substitution of pumping units is also carried out by Katai Pumping Plant JSC, and orders are carried out from design to manufacturing. According to Vladimir Arkhipov, Deputy Governor of the Kurgan Region for Economic Policy, the efforts and high professionalism of the top management of RATM Holding allow the modernization of fixed assets, the development of the city-forming enterprise Kataysk, which contributes not only to economic growth, but, as a result, stability in the social sphere of the region .

Maxim Avdeev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Yaroslavl Region, named RATM Holding among the reliable partners: in his opinion, the industrial site of Rostov Optical and Mechanical Plant PJSC is one of the key ones for the regional economy, in addition, the company participates in charitable projects that are significant for Yaroslavl residents, implementing social policy of the company.

By the way, it was ROMZ and the Ekran plant that stood at the origins of the formation of the international market for civil night vision devices (this direction is assigned to Ekran-Optical Systems JSC): they set up production and began to supply products abroad. In the mid-90s, Ekran began to produce glass containers, now the largest container glass production beyond the Urals is concentrated in Siberian Glass LLC.

“RATM Holding includes factories whose history is closely intertwined with the fate of the metropolis,” Anatoly Lokot, Mayor of Novosibirsk, emphasized in his congratulations. – The company demonstrates impressive results, having played a significant role in the formation of the modern industrial complex of Novosibirsk. In an effort to increase efficiency, the enterprises improve the quality of products and, I am sure, pay tribute to those whose work created the basis for stable work.

According to Eduard Taran, who expressed gratitude to the teams of enterprises for their ability to be stronger than circumstances, RATM Holding is open to new projects, proving that crises are not only difficulties, but also opportunities for growth.
