Expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Association StekloSouz of Russia

The first half of 2022 ended with an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia. The issues of the current state of the glass industry and the measures necessary to solve problematic issues were discussed.

The meeting was chaired by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.

Heads of departments made presentations:

• glass containers – Pavel Gorshkov;

• sheet glass and industrial processing - Andrey Gorin.

The main attention of the speakers was focused on the supply of raw materials, refractories and export of glass products.

The Presidium of StekloSouz made decisions.

Problematic issues of extended responsibility of producers and importers of goods and packaging (ERP) were considered in a separate block.

Aleksey Savin, Chairman of the Ecology Committee, reported on the work jointly with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation (Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia).

Mikhail Pavlushkin, Vice-President of the Association StekloSouz of Russia, announced the completion of the formation of an expert group within the newly created Scientific and Technical Center (STC SSR) in the structure of StekloSouz.

Other issues have also been considered.
