Work of «StekloSouz» with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia

As previously reported:

Russian glass producers, against the backdrop of an increase in the exchange rate, faced a sharp rise in the price of soda, a raw material for their products. Its virtually monopoly supplier LLC Trading House "Bashkhim" raised prices by almost a third in less than a year.

Since 1999, the Association StekloSouz Association of Russia has been representing the interests of the domestic glass industry and is systematically working to implement the National Plan for the Development of Competition.

Currently, as part of the recommendation of the Government of the Russian Federation, StekloSouz Russia was forced to apply to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) with a proposal to change the pricing formulas of LLC Trading House "Bashkhim".

A positive solution to this issue will allow all industries that consume soda to develop actively.
