PZSP to manufacture 7.5 thousand double-glazed windows for the new campus of the Ural Federal University

The company plans to supply UrFU with the entire volume of double-glazed windows by the end of October.

Perm developer and glass manufacturer JSC PZSP will manufacture 7.5 thousand double-glazed windows for the educational and laboratory buildings and dormitories of the new campus of the Ural Federal University (URFU). The facility is being built as part of the National Project "Science and Universities" in the Novokoltsovsky District in the southeast of Yekaterinburg. In total, stemalite, triplex and tempered glass products for the university will amount to approximately 10 thousand square meters. The largest part of the supply from PZSP - 5.2 thousand square meters - are double-glazed windows made of tempered glass for the windows of educational and residential premises of the campus.

Stemalite - tempered glass painted on one side - is used for the construction of interfloor spaces of the buildings of the new campus. The Perm manufacturer will manufacture approximately 1.5 thousand square meters of such double-glazed windows for UrFU. Another 3.3 thousand square meters. meters of triplex, multilayer tempered glass, will be used to glaze the facades of the university buildings.

The head of the department of translucent structures of PZSP Viktor Firulev noted that the enterprise has already manufactured and sent to the customer about a third of the total required volume of double-glazed windows, the rest will be delivered by October 30 of this year. "A federal construction project of this level is the simultaneous work of hundreds of contractors and an extremely strict attitude to delivery times, product quality, including energy-saving properties, documentary support and warranty obligations. PZSP joined the construction of the new campus of URFU for two main reasons: because of the production capacity and the set of technologies of the enterprise. We produce innovative glass of different types, including stemalite and triplex, which are unique to our region," Mr. Firulev shared.

Glasses from PZSP meet the requirements for equipping educational facilities: triplex, stemalite and tempered glass are resistant to damage. If they break, they do not shatter into small sharp pieces. The double-glazed windows are made of multifunctional glass with a double coating. The inner part is energy-saving, it retains heat, directs it into the room, and the outer part reflects excess solar radiation. Multifunctional windows allow you to save on ventilation and air conditioning, as well as on heating.

In 2002, the production of window profiles for the developer's own needs was founded at the JSC "PZSP" enterprise in Perm. Over time, it expanded to the production of double-glazed windows and innovative glass. The products became in demand in the construction market of the Perm Territory, and then by customers from other regions of Russia. Today, PZSP produces 120 thousand square meters of finished glass products per year.
