Production of glass containers launched in Udmurtia

The Fakel plant in Udmurtia has opened a new line for the production of glass products, the press service of the regional head reported.

The launch of the new line will increase the production of bottles by 38 million pieces. They will be used by distilleries. In general, 200 million rubles were invested in the project. This has created dozens of new jobs.

Now the company already produces glass containers of any complexity. In general, Fakel products today cover 2% of the Russian market, said the head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov. “On the scale of our country, this is a worthy result and huge opportunities,” he said.

According to the results of last year, the plant produced 110 million pieces of glass products.
