The process is reminiscent of alchemy: Tyumen glassmakers invite northerners to visit

Near Tyumen, at the plant for the production of glass containers, the direction of industrial tourism is being developed. A year ago, the company developed an excursion project and began to acquaint visitors with the workshops.

The manufacture resembles an alchemical process and is of great interest. The schoolchildren who came on the tour were shown the entire production chain. The most interesting thing happens in the main shop.

In furnaces, the mixture is melted and poured into special molds. 700 bottles are made here per minute. From the red-hot vent, they come out fiery red and still plastic. From the heat of the heat come to the conveyor belt. Along the way, they are watered with chilled silicone solution.

Production goes on around the clock. The work of furnaces, which do not stop for a second, is monitored by a glassmaker.

The bottles are carefully checked. They are tested for thermal stability, pressure and strength.

In total, there are 4 production lines in the workshop. Each has its own shape and color of glass containers. From here it goes to all regions of Russia and the CIS countries.

For eighth-graders, a tour of the Glasstech plant was a good career guidance. The excursion project "Honest Glass" was launched at the enterprise a year ago. Now several groups come here every day. Often also residents of other regions.
