Vincenzo Bove elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sibsteklo

Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about a member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia LLC Siberian Glass (Sibsteklo):

Siberian Glass LLC (the largest manufacturer of glass containers beyond the Urals, an asset of RATM Holding) has approved a new Board of Directors headed by Vincenzo Bove, an international expert in the glass industry.

According to Eduard Taran, President of RATM Holding, Vincenzo Bove will oversee the implementation of the company's overall strategy related to the ESG agenda.

“Sibstekla strives to improve corporate governance, aligning it with best practices and objectives for the manufacture of products that have additional value for partners: for example, the use of glass packaging with a record low weight helps them achieve sustainable development goals,” comments Eduard Taran. – The diverse experience of the members of the Board of Directors, corresponding to the needs of the business, will make it possible to make decisions for the long term, taking into account the multifactorial development of the situation in the context of the dynamism of the macroeconomic environment.

Recall that Sibsteklo is currently focused on increasing production efficiency, including by lightening glass products, which allows increasing their production without increasing the consumption of material resources. In addition, the company seeks to increase the share of glass waste in the composition of raw materials.

Vincenzo Bove has extensive competencies and a high expert status in the glass industry: he has worked in senior positions at Vetri speciali s.p.a., Saint-Gobain VETRI, Ecolvetro, Bormioli Rocco s.p.a. and others. Graduated from the University of Genoa.
