Belarusian construction industry enterprises plan to increase services exports by almost 6% in 2020

In 2020, the construction industry enterprises of Belarus plan to increase the export of construction, engineering and architectural services by 5.9% compared to 2019. BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction.

"The export of services of construction industry enterprises in 2019 amounted to $ 736.4 million, the growth rate for this period was 87.3% with the plan of 122.5%. The plans for this year are to increase the export of services by about 5.9%. And our task - reach these parameters taking into account the current situation, ”the press service noted.

As for the export of the main building materials of the enterprises of the Ministry of Architecture and Architecture, in 2019 it amounted to almost $ 400 million. Ceramic tiles for this period were exported for almost $ 90 million, polished flat glass for almost $ 53 million, cement for $ 81.5 million, crushed stone - by $ 52.2 million. "If we talk about the export of these basic building materials, the supply increased over the past year for ceramic tiles - by 3% compared to 2018. For the remaining positions, a slight decrease in growth rates was noted.
