Entrepreneurs ask the government to return 30% of insurance premiums

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation together with Opora Rossii, Delovaya Rossiya and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs appealed to the government with a request to return up to 30% of the funds paid by Russian entrepreneurs as insurance premiums, TASS reports citing an open letter, sent by businessmen to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

As you know, the Association Glass of Russia is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

“A demanded measure of support could be the return of part of the funds (up to 30%) paid as contributions for accident insurance,” the document says.

Entrepreneurs in a letter said that the costs of large companies to pay insurance premiums can reach tens of millions of rubles, noting that the business incurs huge losses from quarantine measures introduced in the regions of the country.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the Ministry of Finance has reserved funds in the amount of 1.4 trillion rubles to fight against coronavirus and to support the country's economy.
