Brewers in Estonia lack containers due to anti-Russian sanctions

In Estonia, sanctions unexpectedly hit beer producers. Local producers are asking customers to return bottles as soon as possible.

The shortage of glass containers is also one of the consequences of the sanctions pressure on Minsk and Moscow. Recall that earlier Estonian brewers bought bottles in Russia and Belarus. Now we have to look for suppliers in the European Union, and this is much more expensive. By the way, the increase in prices for glass containers is also observed in other EU countries.

Earlier it was reported that brewers from the UK and Germany received a "blow to beer", where the cost of glass containers jumped by 80%. Along with the prices for the container, the prices for the drink itself also increased. If initially they predicted a 30% increase in beer prices, now no one undertakes to make forecasts, since the former one turned out to be too low.
