Petersburg deputies completed the «balcony amnesty»

Petersburg deputies have completed work on a bill designed to protect the owners of glazed loggias from claims from management companies. The document was adopted in the third reading and sent for signing by the Governor.

Earlier in St. Petersburg, fines were introduced for glazing balconies without approval. Then the punishment was canceled, but the management companies began to demand that the apartment owners remove the glass on their own.

According to the new version of the law "On Administrative Offenses in St. Petersburg", no more claims will be made for the glazing of balconies and loggias carried out before January 11, 2020, and the structures will not have to be disassembled either.
