The first girl glassblower from Surgut opened a glass container processing plant

Nadezhda Kalinina from Surgut will begin leading excursions to her glass container recycling plant. As she explained to NEFT, such excursions will help the plant process glass faster, making souvenirs as gifts for visitors. This way the plant will be able to recycle excess glass and remain waste-free.

As Nadezhda said, a trial tour has already been conducted at the plant. A family of five came to see it. They were shown the equipment, the operating principle of the furnace and how hot glass behaves. The children compared it to thick honey.

Let us remind you that Nadezhda Kalinina is one of the few female glassblowers in Russia. Its stained glass windows and products are bought all over Russia; temples and churches in Ugra and other regions of Russia become frequent customers of colored glass windows and walls.
