The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia received information that in order to increase the availability of the use of waste management schemes in the work, including groups of homogeneous waste, reformatting and updating the Order of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia dated June 11, 2021. No. 399 “On approval of requirements for the handling of groups of homogeneous waste of hazard classes I-V” is submitted for consideration within the framework of interdepartmental working groups on the issues of reducing the volume of production and consumption waste entering waste disposal facilities, introducing separate waste collection, transition to a circular economy and application of the extended producer responsibility mechanism, the project of a unified structure of a section (block) dedicated to one group of homogeneous waste, as well as the issue of its direct substantive content.

The specialists of "StekloSouz" are currently developing a section on glass.

Currently, the specialists of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia are actively working on the implementation of the draft law, reflected in the Concept for improving the institution of extended responsibility of producers and importers of goods and packaging (ERP), approved by the Government of the Russian Federation on December 28, 2020 and the draft Roadmap "STEKLO" (hereinafter DC "GLASS").

As you know, an interdepartmental Working Group (WG) "Glass" was created under the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, which included the heads of the committee on ecology of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia Savin Alexey Vladimirovich, chairman of the committee and Lukyantsev Sergey Vyacheslavovich, deputy chairman.
