Omsk craftsmen created the New Year's ball less than 2 millimeters in size, claiming the title of the smallest in the country. Glassblower Yuri Cheglakov made a hollow glass ball, and microminiaturist Anatoly Konenko made two inscriptions on it: “2020” and “Happy New Year!” Despite the fact that you can see the ball only under a magnifying glass, it has a loop with which you can decorate hang on the same miniature Christmas tree.

“The ball itself is made of glass, it is real glass. Everything else is made of pure gold, so as not to rust, it was beautiful. He needed very little there, so this is not a problem. This ball is unique because it is hollow. That’s the difficulty, ”said Omsk Lefty.

Omsk craftsmen applied for inclusion of their creations in the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest Christmas tree decorations.
