The volume of industrial production in Sevastopol increased by 13% over the year

During 2019, the volume of industrial production in Sevastopol increased by 13.4% compared to the previous year. Such data are provided by the department of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

“Industrial Production Index. January-December 2019 compared to January-December 2018 - 113.4%, ”- stated in the information message of Krymstat.

In general, manufacturing increased the volume by 29%. The largest growth was shown by enterprises in the category of “other non-metallic mineral products” (production of glass, ceramic, tile, tile, cement, plaster, etc.) products - almost 7 times. The scope of work on the repair and installation of machinery and equipment has more than doubled.

The largest drop in volumes was shown by regional textile manufacturers - in 2019 they produced 38% of the volume of production in 2018.

In 2018, industrial production growth in Sevastopol was observed at 10%.
