On amendments to certain decisions of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the issues of labeling goods with means of identification

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia received information that a draft decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission “On Amendments to Certain Decisions of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the Issues of Marking Goods with Identification Tools” has been posted on the official website of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the EAEU) ( hereinafter referred to as the project) with all the necessary materials for the regulatory impact assessment.

The draft was prepared in order to bring the acts of the Council of the Commission in the field of labeling of goods by means of identification into line with the established practice of introducing labeling of goods in the Member States of the Union, and also in order to supplement such acts with provisions defining the actions of the Member States in cases of movement of goods for purposes other than cross-border trade and in the production of goods subject to labeling in the territory of one Member State from raw materials supplied by the customer and (or) under the trademark of the customer of another Member State.
